Welcome to the Plough Inn - Wistanstow

The Tap to the Wood Brewery.

Located next to the award-winning Wood Brewery, the Plough Inn sits on the South side of the pretty Shropshire village of Wistanstow.  The Plough Inn is in fact the "Tap" to the Wood Brewery serving traditional hand-crafted ales from hand-pulls dating back to the beginning of the last century.

The Plough Inn is a traditional English country pub with a  restaurant, snug bar, games room, patio and beer garden welcoming families with children, dogs (in the snug bar) and having full disabled access throughout. In the winter months, you’ll find real fires where you can sit and sample some of the winter-warmer ales.

Food is served at both lunchtimes and evenings using as much local produce as possible.

Sit outside in the summer and you may catch a waft of the malted barley from the brewery next door who are happy to arrange tours for groups (contact the brewery for details).

As a traditional country pub, you'll find two darts teams, a pool team and we also host the Corvedale and Wood's Brewery darts final night.

If you have work to do or are on holiday and need to connect to the Internet, we are now WiFi enabled with free Broadband access - just bring your wireless enabled laptop.

Noon until 2:30 and 5:00 until Midnight Mondays to Saturdays
